Biography

Born in 1985 was introduced to music at the age of 7 playing guitar, followed by Maestro Marco Belcastro, but soon discovered a strong interest for the drums.

He began studying drums in 2000 with Maestro Alessandro Chiara (Ten week Certificate Drummers Collective in New York, graduated with Walter Calloni CPM) and then, from 2007 to 2009, he attended a Professional Course at Nam Academy in Milan under the guidance of Maestro Tullio De Piscopo. He graduated in 2009 in “Drums and Music Theory”.

He continued his studies until 2011 attending a two years professional jazz course with Tullio De Piscopo.

Since 2012 he has been attending private lessons in “Theory and Recording Studio Techniques” with Maestro Lele Melotti.

He attended Drum Clinics including Jojo Mayer’s in 2006 (Nerve), Ellade Bandini’s (De Andrè) in 2008, Christian Meyer’s (Elio and Storie Tese) and Gavin Harrison’s (Porcupine Tree) in 2011 and Davide Regazzoni’s (Angelo Branduardi) in 2015.

He also owns a Professional Drum Recording Studio - Studio dB - and he plays with Live Bands and in Musicals in northern Italy.
